  1. Sonya, Mike & J.Z. Race says:

We will miss you Miss Sarah. My son still flips and balances every day due to confidence and technique from your Cirquefit classes. We thank you for touching so many lives and hearts. Your legacy lives on in our children as well as yours. As I hug mine a little tighter, I pray for peace and send condolences to your family and friends. Peace in heaven.

  2. Cielja Kieft says:

Oh mi, Sarah, I hardly can believe it. We were colleagues in teaching our classes at Rise. I borrowed once a clock from your room, not knowing that you were going to teach that day. You came in and asked for your clock. It was a clock you had bought yourself. I apologized and wanted to give it back to you. You said: “Oh never mind, I just buy another one.” You gave all to make things work great for everybody. Your little boy was your partner in cirque fit. It was such a joy to witness you and him carrying the equipment to the class et en plus d’entendre parler le francais. May your soul find peace, although you were taken too young. May your children be comforted by all who have known you and through them feel your arms holding them. Love and Light on your path.

  3. Susan Baum says:

I did not know you but one of dearest friends performed with you and loved you dearly. May you be at peace.

  4. CC & Robert Johnson says:

Our Hearts go out to your children, family friends and KA crew. This is a very tragic situation that should never happen to anyone. Thoughts and prayers to you all.
    CC & Robert

  5. Matt Elson says:

Blessings to her! It’s always a marvel to watch the Cirque du Soleil performers push the boundaries of what is possible for the human being. The risks you take keep us on the edge of our seats because they are real. My condolences to your family, your colleagues and all the Cirque du Soleil performers.

  6. André St-Jean says:

Je me permet de copier ce commentaire de Martin Frenette

Strongly believe that all circus artists are forming a huge family, that we are all connected by our passion, dreams and love when it comes to performing and giving the best that we can whether it’s in a tiny traditional circus with the smallest caravans in Bulgaria, the former trampoline world champions turned aerial acrobats for an opera in Paris, the burlesque and freak shows sons and daughters… in Melbourne, we are all related by an invisible link from one artistic heart to another and, when of us stops shining on stage down here to spread light an love from above, whether or not we’ve met, it does feel like a relative is gone. Sarah Guyard, you took your final bow way too early and today, an entire community from Las Vegas to Rome and Sidney is reflecting on our career, our lifestyle, our passion. Please welcome a new angel the way that she deserves, up there, and give her one last standing ovation for her arrival. Thoughts, light and love to the big Cirque Family in Vegas and to her very own little family. LOTS of courage to all of you too. Rest in peace.

    De Martin Frenette

  7. Annie says:

Je ne n’est pas de mot pour d’écrire ce que je ressent. Mes condoléances a la famille de Sarah. My heart , my prayers and thoughts to my Cirque Family at KA. I have been very silence since the events, because I can’t express myself. There is no words to describe the way I feel.

  8. Walt says:

No longer constrained by harnesses, cables, or even gravity… for you now have your wings. It would be impossible to quantify the number of fond memories delivered by your many years of service and performance. We thank you, Sarah.

  9. Herelle says:

  12. Cosimo says:

I came to Las Vegas and saw KA` this past february..getting to see your show was the highlight of my trip, and possibly the most stunning live performance I’ve ever seen. My deepest sympathy to Sarah’s family and the KA` family. This is a really sad day for the global circus community, we all mourn with you, and will remember Sasoun each time we retake the stage…….. Repose en Paix, etoile brilliante.

  13. Kathy says:

I saw my first Cirque show, KA, nearly a year ago while in Vegas. My eyes were wide and my jaw dropped as I watched such amazing athletes fly over us and perform such wonderful, fluid movements. I am a performer and even though I know there are dangers… it never truly hits us until a great tragedy like this happens. As it was said, in the galaxy of Cirque, a star has faded. But you are no longer held down by gravity. You now have your wings. Fly and soar as you are meant to. Thank you, Sarah, for you have touched many hearts, mine included. Thank you for giving me the greatest gift ever. The fire to continue performing.

  14. Halley says:

Sending my prayers and warm thoughts to Sarah’s family, friends and her fellow performers, and especially to her two young children. Rest in peace, Sarah.

  15. Elizabeth A says:

I didn’t know you, Sasoun. I have only seen one maybe two ariel acts in my life, none of them Cirque. But it seems I do know a few kind-hearted people whose paths crossed your own. Seeing their heartbreak, and knowing how small a fraction that is of what you left behind, leaves me lost trying to make sense of such a tragedy. All I can come up with is this: maybe the rest of us needed you. Maybe there where those who, like me, would likely have never heard of or seen your light and your zest for life and everything you did. Maybe something so seemingly unjust like this had to happen so your life could break free of the physical plane, raise above, and reach all of those you were meant to touch. To show the rest of us the courage, passion, and dedication it seems you embodied. Ideally, we can all use this wave of emotions to make our own lives more selfless and fulfilling. I hope that thought brings some small comfort to my friends who are hurting and the rest who feel your loss may be too much to bear. I pray it helps them soar above the grief and find more magic in their own lives.

  16. Waverly Jones says:

While I did not know Sarah personally, I have been deeply affected by her death. I am a fellow aerialist and when an accident happens, it is felt far and wide. I can say that the amount of fellow acrobats and aerialists that were affected by this tragedy is astonishing. Her death is felt widespread by the community and our condolences go out to Sarah’s family and friends, and to the cast and crew of Cirque du Soleil. Much, much love. Sarah, your legacy will live on.

  17. rina says:

Sad to hear this….don’t know her personally but my prayers are with her friends and family and coworkers….

  19. Gianfranco Di Pasquale says:

I don’t have a memory but my thoughts and prayers are with Sasoun’s children, family members and friends, and all of Sasoun’s colleagues at Le Cirque du Soleil. You are a special group of very talented individuals and I salute you. Gianfranco Di Pasquale

  21. Curtis Spriesterbach says:

Sarah not only taught my daughter Gillian. She found out that her severely autistic brother wanted to learn tumbling. To my surprise after doing research on his condition Sarah asked to try private lessons with Aiden. This kind and considerate woman tried so hard and took such joy in teaching. Peace Sarah-tops. Severely missed, but never forgotten.
